Last week's meeting at the Rotterdam Science Tower was a landmark event for Delta Diagnostics and our partners. The purpose of this gathering was clear: to explore the innovative potential of our label-free biosensing technology and to strengthen our commitment to making this technology widely accessible. We are driven by a mission to democratize biosensing technology, ensuring that researchers from institutions of any size and funding level can benefit from our advanced solutions. Our photonic integrated circuit-based biosensors represent a leap forward, offering high-throughput, multiplexed, and label-free detection capabilities. This technology stands to change the way researchers approach biosensing, making complex analyses simpler, faster, and more cost-effective.Our distributor partners joined from across Europe, each bringing their unique perspective and expertise to the table. Claus Dall Larsen from LABLAB Aps (Denmark), Peter Blom of XboXLab AS (Sweden/Norway/Finland), Urs Wegmann and Malika Mühlebach from LABFORCE (Switzerland), and Josef Uskoba from iBiotech (Czech Republic/Hungary/Slovakia) all shared their insights on how we can better support them and tap into the opportunities presented by our biosensing technology. The discussions focused on collaborative strategies to enhance distributor support and to navigate the challenges of bringing sour tech to scientists. Our collective vision, "Enabling More For Less," highlights our commitment to breaking down the barriers to advanced biosensing tools, ensuring that these innovations are accessible to all researchers. It was a greatr step forward in a shared journey towards transforming biosensing technology and ensuring that every researcher has the opportunity to explore and discover without limitations.#photonics #biosensing #lifesciences

Behind the scenes - the foundation story of 2bind GmbH and NanoTempers‘ role in it: Way back in 2008, NanoTemper Technologies unleashed a powerful biophysical tool: MicroScale Thermophoresis (MST, or TRIC as it is called now). This incredible tech let scientists detect molecular interactions fast, precise, reliable and in solution. But here's the twist: not everyone could own this cutting-edge instrument. Recognizing the need for broader accessibility, in 2011, 2bind was born, as spin-off from NanoTemper and in partnership with Gernot Längst from the University of Regensburg. My personal mission at 2bind to give people access to biophysical tools started 2012.There is the need for instruments and there is the need for services. While NanoTemper focused on crafting high-quality instruments, we provided top-notch biophysical analytical services. This idea worked well! This synergy propelled 2bind into a hub of biophysics expertise. In 2016, NanoTemper stepped back, allowing us to thrive independently. Form 2017 on, with Dr. Maximilian Plach as Chief of Operations we brought together 20 skilled scientists and a compelling toolkit of 13 biophysical methods, not just the suite of NanoTemper Technologies (PANTA, Tycho, nanoDSF, Dianthus, MST/TRIC), but besides others great formats from Dynamic Biosensors and Malvern/Creoptix. This set of assay formats allow us to offer technology-open, customized biophysical solutions to support programs of our customers.Importantly, this well selected toolkit combined with 12 years expertise is a testament to the importance of biophysics! A vision that 2bind and NanoTemper share since the beginning. We are happy about the valuable technology partnership between 2bind and NanoTemper. Thanks to our friends and colleagues from NanoTemper for involving us in their developments as beta tester. This is always fun. And thanks to Philipp for the recent visit - as always, a pleasure to have you here!#biophysics #molecularinteractions #innovation #partnerships

When looking for an absorbable, biocompatible material for their minimally invasive implant to treat nasal septal deviation, Stanford Byers Center for Biodesign innovation fellows James Kintzing and Dr. Brandon M. (McCutcheon) considered several polymers before selecting polydioxanone. In our latest contribution, the Spirair founders discussed why they picked PDO and what they learned in the process: https://lnkd.in/gubxQqN7
