I feel very confident in obtaining medical care from Dr. Mlecko, whether colonoscopies in previous years or help with a persistent digestive problem, as in this case.

Provider was very reluctant to "offer" or provide specific information on the results of my procedures. No information was offered unless I asked specific questions. Even then, the answers were curt. It was like pulling teeth. It shouldn't be that way. I got the impression that answering my questions was some sort of Inconvenience and my asking questions was some sort of overreach on my part. Very uncomfortable consultation.

I feel like he drew a quick conclusion on what was likely causing the issue I was concerned about and immediately went to a prescription drug solution. I shared some lifestyle/dietary factors which probably also contribute, and he seemed to just brush those away suggesting we try to meds first and see how things are in 90 days. I felt like I had to pull from him to get more information about what was happening and why it was happening. (this is spasming...why?...b/c this is happening...well why is that happening?...)

The doctor didn't listen to me when I told him that I have already tried the course of action that he suggested. I went to him for a second opinion. he started me right back to the same regiment, that the first gastroenterologist had me on. even though I explain to him what I had already done.

Didn't address the issues that have been going on with evaluation. No Endoscopy or blood work for ongoing problems. Prescribed medicine .told to come back in 2 months

This is a follow up appointment after a colonoscopy. I felt that Dr.Mlecko lacks compassion. He was recommended by my primary care physician and he may be very good, but he is abrupt and made me feel as if I was wasting his time.

Dr Mlecko takes his time, reviews lab results and medication while never rushing the visit. He discusses the treatment plan fully and also reviews prognosis which I find reassuring.
